“The Student Teacher’s Handbook for Physical Education” provides a series of week-by-week, systematic learning experiences for the student teacher. The book contains a sequence of 15 teaching components for student teachers to master. Each component corresponds roughly to one week of the student teaching semester, allowing the student teacher to concentrate on one major learning objective at a time. The handbook features skill progressions that build upon what student teachers have learned in previous components.
